Each year as September rolls around and the seasons begin to change, we celebrate the Autumn Equinox with a weekend of suitably spooky outdoor cinema in one of Bristol’s most hidden yet treasured venues – the outdoor amphitheatre in Boiling Wells, St Werburghs.
This earthy environment – with it’s shrouded woodland, mud huts and wicker structures is the perfect setting for expanded cinema offerings. Over the years of curating cinema at Boiling Well’s we have treated audiences to; a pagan themed Wickerman romp, created a Lynchian nightmare with Fire Walk With Me and built a locally sourced archive trail featuring myths and legends of the South West.
